Rise from financial distress to future strength

As a specialised practice of SAFIRE Capital Advisors, REKAST guides businesses facing financial difficulty towards rehabilitation and a resilient foundation for long-term success.

Expertise in financial turnaround

The REKAST team is strongly placed to provide stressed asset and special situations advisory, helping businesses convert financial distress into a structured path toward stability and growth.

The REKAST team works with promoters, management teams, lenders, and investors to achieve desired strategic objectives embedded in a mutually agreed and documented turnaround plan.

  • Diagnostic rigour

Identifying the real, underlying causes of financial distress before prescribing a course of action.

  • Intervention across the capital stack

Working across debt, equity and asset structures to find the combination that fits each situation.

  • End-to-end execution

Carrying the plan through from diagnosis and negotiation to resolution, not handing it off midway.

When we step in

REKAST strives to act on financial stress at the earliest possibility, thereby giving businesses room to properly plan and negotiate a restructuring plan on superior terms, without undue panic and unnecessary compromise.

  1. Proactive & pre-emptive

REKAST strives to move the needle from post-default resolution to pre-default action for turnaround and optimisation — diagnosing the root causes of impending financial distress and acting decisively at the first signs of latent stress, before SMA-1, SMA-2 status and well before NPA classification.

  2. Post-NPA scenario

Even after an entity is classified as a Non-Performing Asset, REKAST can assist promoters to plan and execute a turnaround in a pre-IBC scenario.

  3. Post-IBC admission scenario

REKAST helps promoters evaluate lawful options, including settlement and withdrawal under Section 12A. For MSMEs, the Pre-Packaged Insolvency (PPIRP) route can be explored.

  4. Settlements

Structuring and negotiating One-Time Settlements where legacy debt is unserviceable, but the business can continue on a settled balance sheet.

Multi-dimensional capability

REKAST comes to the table with the required capabilities and track record, deployed individually or in combination, as each situation demands.

  • Debt restructuring & refinancing

  • One-Time Settlements (OTS)

  • Capital raising

    Strategic partner / turnaround funds

  • Strategic divestment

Slump sale & non-core asset monetisation
